Reckoning Studios is a multimedia company that specializes in creating branded content. Through high definition video and photography, we craft character driven narratives that contextualize and enhance our clients' brands.
We start by listening to our clients' branding messages and work with them to uncover the small stories that tell their big story. We then identify and engage with appropriate characters and craft a captivating media experience that can be shared across a variety of digital platforms.
In serving our clients, we rely upon our backgrounds in broadcast television, feature filmmaking, viral marketing, web design, photography, music production and institutional development. Our studio draws on a group of creative collaborators who have the skills and flexibility to deliver on projects large and small.
MICHAEL TRAINER is an award-winning photographer, multimedia producer, and social entrepreneur. From creating a comprehensive photography catalogue for Nobel Peace prize winner Wangari Maathai’s Greenbelt movement in Kenya, to interviewing and producing a global webcast of President Carter at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Michael’s productions have led him around the World. He has been fortunate to work with great visionaries and in support of groundbreaking organizations like Acumen Fund, charity: water, Pencils of Promise, and the Summit Series. ADAM BARTON is a documentary filmmaker, editor and digital content specialist. He recently edited the Oscar and Emmy nominated HBO film, “China’s Unnatural Disaster” and has worked as an editor and shooter for several other projects directed by 15-time Emmy award winner Jon Alpert and his producing partner Matthew O’Neill. His work has been featured on ESPN, ESPN2, Current TV, Puma.com, Yahoo.com, MSN.com, Superdelux.com, CharlieRose.com, UniversalMusic.com, Hutchinson.com, Vibe.com, TravelandLeisure.com and at festivals such as SXSW, Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, the International Bicycle Film Festival and at the MOMA. He has also worked as a freelance producer for Ogilvy and Mather and WebMD and has taught at Columbia University, Downtown Community Television and as a guest lecturer at The New School.
